Hey people, I have visited the Dolce & Gabbana website and picked out some highlights and their navigation so it would be easier for all of you when you visit.

To view the Dolce & Gabbana collection:

  1. Move your cursor over the 'Fashion Show Winter 2008' icon and select either DG or D&G, depending on which you want to view.
  2. D&G is the D&G line, the casual and trendsetting line for both men and women.
  3. DG is the Dolce&Gabbana line, the more luxurious and high end line for both men and women too.
  4. From there, you can browse through the different links for the various fashion shows.

To view the celebrities who attended D&G events:

  1. Go to the 'Celebrities' icon and click on it. A new window will pop up.
  2. There are photos of different celebrities who attended the events, like Kylie Minogue and more.
  3. The most recent event in the front and the past events are at the end.

To view the designer's own photo shoot:

  1. Click on the 'Dolce Vita' icon.
  2. There are the links 'Home', 'Gallery' and 'Press Release' for you to explore.
  3. Caution though, there IS nudity in the photo shoot. So, please exercise self-restraint when deem fit.

To view the individual pieces of every collection:

  1. Click on either one of the three icons on the top to view whichever collection.
  2. From there, click on 'Menu' to view the individual pieces of the collection under each theme one by one.

These are the highlights and navigation for the D&G website. Of course, there are other areas of the website that I had never mentioned but you may like to visit them too.

Know Your Designer: Dolce & Gabbana

Dolce & Gabbana (say dol-chay n ge-ba-na), or D&G, more commonly known, is a high-end Italian label. The designers are Domenico Dolce, born near Palermo, Sicily and Stefano Gabbana, born in Milan, Italy.

They are very familiar for their designs in the Hollywood industry and have designed for Ayumi Hamasaki, Madonna and more. Their company is based in Milan.

Dolce & Gabbana is organised into two central lines for adults: D&G and Dolce&Gabbana. D&G is the more casual line with slightly cheaper prices; it follows the trends of culture of the time and is trendsetting.

Dolce&Gabbana centralises on luxury materials and it's more expensive than D&G. This line doesn't change as much as the former and it is influenced by sartorial designs; it is also described as 'timeless' by Dolce&Gabbana. Dolce&Gabbana purses have an exclusive stamp on the inside too.

D&G Junior is a separate line for children under the age of 13. D&G Junior follows the ethos of D&G and it embodies youth and fun with the styles of its clothes. Each season follows a set-named trend for that particular season and it is named separately for boys and girls.

For more information and what are the latest trends D&G has to offer, you may want to visit their official site: www.dolcegabbana.com

It's Dolce & Gabbana Month!

Hey people, once again it's a new fashion month of D&G, as you all know it. I don't know if I can, but if I have the time, I will showcase some of their designs. The history of this Italian brand will be in the next entry.
